considering the Main directions of migration policy in the territory of the State Parties of the Agreement on creation of the Union State approved by the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Union State of October 29, 2005 No. 23,

being guided by interests of further strengthening of mutual understanding, neighborliness and expansion of professional contacts,

proceeding from need of increase in efficiency of interaction of competent authorities in the field of migration of border regions,

based on applicable rules of international law and the legislation of the states of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

In this agreement in the field of migration of border regions (further - competent authorities) are understood as competent authorities:

a) in the Republic of Belarus - the Departments of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk, Gomel and Mogilev regional executive committees;

b) in the Russian Federation - the Offices of the Federal Migration Service on the Bryansk, Smolensk and Pskov regions.

The parties in writing inform each other on changes in structure of the competent authorities.

Article 2

Competent authorities directly interact with each other on the basis of provisions of this agreement, being effective within the competence, with compliance with law and the international obligations of the states.

In case of address modification or the location, contact telephone numbers, other communication channels of the competent authorities of the Party in writing notify each other on it.
