The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic which further are referred to as the Party proceeding from the principles of mutual advantage and mutual assistance, wishing to help the bilateral relations in the field of health care and medical science, convinced that this cooperation will promote improvement of health of the population, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will develop and perform cooperation in the field of health care and medical science according to legislations of the states of the Parties.

Article 2

The parties intend to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the following directions:

organization of medical care to the population (creation of the health care market, development of primary medical and sanitary and specialized medical care, implementation of new medical technologies);

development and implementation of joint programs on priority and urgent problems of health care and medical science;

preparation and advanced training medical, scientific and research and educational personnel on the basis of the approved qualification requirements to the graduate, the specialist;

state registration and certification of products of medical appointment and medical equipment;

state registration and quality control of medicines;

state hygienic regulation and registration of foodstuff;

development of scientific research in the field of experimental, clinical and preventive medicine according to requirements of system of public health care;

economy of health care and medical science;

automated control systems, computer facilities and computerization in the field of health care;

coordination in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of the population, including:

sanitary protection of the territory according to the International convention about approval of conditions of monitoring procedure of loads on borders of October 21, 1982;

state sanitary and epidemiologic regulation;
