wishing to develop on the basis of reciprocity automobile passenger and freight traffic between both states and transit through their territories to the third states, and also wishing to promote this message,

agreed as follows:

DETERMINATIONS

Article 1

1. The term "carrier" means any physical person or legal entity authorized according to national legal systems of both states to carry out international carriages.

2. The term "vehicle" means:

in transit passengers - the bus, i.e. the motorized vehicle intended for transportation of passengers and having at least 8 places for sitting apart from driver's seat;

in transit loads - the cargo vehicle, the trailer hauling truck, the tractor truck or the tractor truck with semitrailer truck.

3. The term "permission" means the document resolving entrance, departure of the vehicle of one Contracting Party from the territory of other Contracting Party or granting the right to journey transit through the territory of other Contracting Party.

4. The term "regular transportations of passengers" means the transportations performed by vehicles of Contracting Parties according to in advance approved schedule, route with indication of initial and final Items of movement and Items of stops.

5. The term "irregular transportations of passengers" means all other transportations.

6. The term "transit transportations" means transportations of passengers and loads on the territory of one of the states in case of which the points of departure and appointments are out of the territory of the state of this Contracting Party.

7. The term means "competent authorities":

for the Republic of Belarus - the Ministry of Transport and Communications;

for the Republic of Uzbekistan - State joint-stock corporation of road transport Uzavtotrans.
