About legal protection of topology of integral chips

Article 1. General provisions

The basic concepts used in this Law:

- integral chip (further - IMS) - the microelectronic product of final or intermediate shape intended for accomplishment of function of the electronic scheme, elements and which bonds are unseparably created in amount and (or) on the surface of material which formed the basis for production of this subject;

- topology of integral chip (further - topology) - the space and geometrical arrangement of set of elements of integral chip and bonds fixed on the material carrier between them;

- commercial use (further - use, unless otherwise specified) - application, sale, letting or distribution for commercial purposes otherwise, and also the offer to make these actions;

- the owner - the author, his heir, and also any physical person or legal entity or the company which does not have the status of the legal entity who under the law or the agreement acquired exclusive property rights.

Article 2. Legislation on legal protection of topology

The legislation on legal protection of topology consists of the Constitution, this Law, other laws and legal acts.

Article 3. The relations regulated by this Law

This Law governs the relations connected with creation, legal protection and use of topology.

Article 4. Legal protection of topology

The right to topology is protected by the state.

The exclusive right affects use of topology ten years, the beginning of this term is determined by the earliest of the following fixed dates:

- by date of the first use of topology, namely: on the earliest documentary fixed Date of Introduction somewhere in the world in economic circulation of this topology or IMS with this topology.
