About award of the Fighting Cross

Article 1. Rewarding with award of the Fighting Cross is made for the exclusive courage, dedication and skill shown in protection and safety of the Homeland.

Article 2. The award of the Fighting Cross has two degrees:

1. Award of the Fighting Cross of 1 degree.

2. Award of the Fighting Cross of the II degree.

The highest degree of award of the Fighting Cross - 1 degree.

Article 3. The Fighting Cross of 1 degree are awarded the order:

a) the military personnel of Armed Forces and other types of troops of the Republic of Armenia for the exclusive courage shown in protection of the Homeland and personal bravery, and also other faces - for the made significant contribution to defense case;

b) the senior commanders of Armed Forces and other types of troops of the Republic of Armenia - for the considerable success achieved during fighting.

Article 4. The Fighting Cross of the II degree are awarded the order:

a) military personnel and the senior commanders of Armed Forces and other types of troops of the Republic of Armenia - for skillful accomplishment of fighting tasks, and also other faces - for the significant contribution to their accomplishment;

b) the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Public administration of homeland security, customs authorities of the Republic of Armenia, and also other persons - for the personal courage shown in protection of public order.

Article 5. The petition for rewarding with award of the Fighting Cross 1 and award of the Fighting Cross of the II degree is initiated by the Ministries of Defence and Internal Affairs, public administration of homeland security and on emergency situations and Customs authority of the Republic of Armenia.

Article 6. The medal of the Fighting Cross is worn on the left side of breast after the Fatherland Award.
