The concept of humanitarian and social development in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is evidence-based frame of reference on distribution and fixing of humanistic and social values in this paramilitary group, humanization of all spheres of military activities, satisfaction of social requirements and interests of the military personnel, members of their families and workers and contains regulations on the basic principles, tasks of bodies of military management for introduction of humanitarian and social policy of the state, mechanisms of their realization.

The humanitarian policy in Armed Forces is purposeful activities of bodies of military management for ensuring training, education, psychological training of the military personnel and workers, their spiritual, cultural and physical development, realization of constitutional rights and freedoms.

Social policy in Armed Forces is activities of bodies of military management for development and management social compound for the purpose of satisfaction of social requirements and interests of the military personnel, members of their families and workers, social resettlement, support and protection of the military personnel and persons transferred to the reserve or in resignation.
