The governments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which further are referred to as with the Parties, considering importance of providing with information on objects of copyright, the related rights and owners, understanding need of joint use of information resources and coordination of efforts of the Parties for implementation of effective actions for protection and protection of intellectual property, aiming at increase in efficiency of application of the stipulated by the legislation State Parties of this agreement of measures of protection and protection of property rights, aiming at further development of interstate cooperation and expansion of mutual legal assistance for strengthening of commercial ties within the Commonwealth, wishing to create favorable conditions for development of mutual trade, economic and scientific cooperation, based on provisions of the Concept of forming of national databases and the organization of interstate exchange of information for the prevention and suppression of offenses in the field of the intellectual property approved by the Decision of Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States of May 25, 2006 agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purpose of creation of conditions for interstate exchange of information about objects of copyright, the related rights and owners of the Party according to the national legal system perform cooperation on the organization of interstate exchange of information and forming of national databases of copyright and the related rights and develop the mechanism providing such information containing in national databases of copyright and the related rights of each Party, law-enforcement bodies, judicial authorities, prosecutor's office, customs, and also other bodies of the State Parties of this agreement.

The parties according to the national legal system perform exchange of information about objects of copyright, the related rights and owners through the authorities.
