About measures for protection of the Russian producers of tableware

According to the Federal Law "About Special Protective, Anti-dumping and Countervailing Measures in case of Commodity Import" Government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. Establish for a period of 3 years the special duty on the tableware from stainless steel imported on customs area of the Russian Federation and 4 US dollars classified by the FEACN CU codes 8211 91 300 0, 8215 20 100 0 and 8215 99 100 0, in the amount of 1, for 1 kilogram.

For the purposes of application of the specified rate of the special duty the goods are determined only by the FEACN CU code. The description of goods is given only for convenience of use.

Action of the special duty does not extend to import of the tableware from stainless steel coming from the Republic of Byelorussia and also from developing countries using national preferential system of the Russian Federation, except for People's Republic of China (including Taiwan and special administrative areas of China - Hong Kong and Macau).

2. To the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to notify the interested foreign states on introduction of the special duty on the goods specified in Item 1 of this resolution.

3. Provide to the Federal Customs Service collection of the special duty specified in Item 1 of this resolution.

4. This resolution becomes effective after one month from the date of its official publication.
