About establishment of rates for services in supply of irrigation water for 1999

Article 1. The tariff policy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of services in water supply from the state water management systems to water users is regulated proceeding from:

- commitment to the principles of market economy in the water relations;

- need of the state support of actions for preserving and development of water management complexes;

- real solvency of water users;

- distinctions in cost of services for implementation of water supply depending on geographical, agroclimatic conditions.

Article 2. According to article 10 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About water" to establish for 1999 the following rates for services in supply of irrigation water: Regular areas:

I and IV quarters - 1,0 тыйын for 1 CBM of water;

II and III quarters - 3,0 of tyyyn for 1 CBM of water.

Areas with severe and adverse climatic conditions:

I and IV quarters - 0, tyyyna for 1 CBM of water;

II and III quarters - 1,0 тыйын for 1 CBM of water.

Article 3. Rates for services in water supply from the state water management systems to water users are annually established by General Court of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on representation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Article 4. Provide the following payment procedure water users for services in water supply:

- water use conditions, including amounts and submission due dates of water are regulated by the standard agreement approved by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and concluded by annually specially authorized bodies of the Ministry of agricultural and water economy (further - the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources) the Kyrgyz Republic with water users not later than 20 days before starting date of water giving;
