The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus which further are referred to as with the Parties, being guided by the principles provided by the Agreement on general terms and the mechanism of support of development of production cooperation of the companies and industries of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 23, 1993 and the Protocol on the mechanism of implementation of this Agreement of April 15, 1994, attaching importance to further development economic and sci-tech cooperation for the benefit of both states, aiming to provide favorable conditions for the purpose of development and realization of joint coordinated policy in the field of development of the international specialization and cooperation of production, agreed as follows:

Article 1. Authorized bodies

Authorized bodies on implementation of this agreement are:

from the Kazakhstan side - the Ministry of the industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

from the Belarusian side - the Industry ministry of the Republic of Belarus.

In case of change of the name of authorized bodies of the Party without delay notify on it through diplomatic channels.

Article 2. Directions of cooperation

For the purpose of implementation of this agreement of the Party perform cooperation in the following directions:

1) carrying out joint coordinated policy in the field of development of the international specialization and cooperation of production;

2) providing sales terms of this policy;

3) determination of priorities in industries;

4) implementation of bilateral coordination of production.

Article 3. Cooperation methods

The parties promote implementation and development of production and scientific and technical cooperation between the companies of the states of the Parties of all patterns of ownership on the basis of direct production connections and according to their specialization.
