Statement of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan and Republic of Uzbekistan

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan declare support of initiative of the Russian Federation about development and the conclusion of the Agreement on the European safety and intention of state members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to assist promotion of this initiative in different international formats.

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of state members of the CSTO highlight importance of creation of steady system of the international collective security on the basis of the conventional principles and rules of international law, the central role of the UN in questions of peacekeeping and international security, inadmissibility of isolation of any state and emergence of zones with the different level of safety.

Ministers support system of single, equal and indivisible safety for all states of space of Euro Atlantic and Eurasia, emphasize need of strict observance of obligations of the states assumed at the highest level not to strengthen the safety due to safety of others.

Ministers support convocation of meeting of heads of the CSTO, NATO, the EU, the CIS and OSCE for discussion of the strategy of safety accepted in these organizations as the first step to forming of indivisible space of safety.
