About peasant and collective peasant economy
This Law determines economic, organizational, social conditions and the legal basis of activities of peasant and collective peasant economy.
The separate relations connected with creation and activities of peasant and collective peasant economy are regulated by other legal acts of the Republic of Armenia.
Agricultural activities are the form of managing providing commodity production of agricultural products.
Organizational forms of agricultural activities in the Republic of Armenia are based on property of citizens, collective and state-owned property and act in the form of peasant economy, collective peasant economy, the state agricultural enterprises and kolkhozes.
The existing sovkhozes are liquidated and can acquire the status of the state agricultural enterprises, employees of these sovkhozes sat down or part of them in the written consent of most of full age members of families express desire to continue activities of economy on the basis of state-owned property on the parcels of land and other means of production which are due to them and refuse realization of the property right to the earth. Other agricultural enterprises acquire the status of the state agricultural enterprise according to the decision of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Armenia.
The state agricultural enterprises operate on lands of state-owned property. The legal acts for procedure for creation and activities of the state companies existing in the Republic of Armenia extend to these companies.
