being guided by provisions of the Agreement on the Union of Belarus and Russia of April 2, 1997, the Charter of the Union of Belarus and Russia of May 23, 1997 and the Contract between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on military cooperation of December 19, 1997,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

In this Agreement information exchange is understood as acceptance, transfer, processing, storage, addressing and routing of all types of information, including limited access which the Parties exchange within military cooperation.

The parties develop perspective types of information exchange, including automated control systems, modem communication and computer networks.

Article 2

Implementation of this agreement is assigned from the Belarusian Side to General staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and from the Russian Side on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The general staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will organize information exchange according to national legal systems and the international obligations of the Parties.

Article 3

Methods of transfer, collection, processing, procedure for documentation, access, storage and information security, lists of users and resources of joint use, and also other questions of information exchange are determined in separate, approved by the Parties, the provisions developed according to national legal systems of the Parties.
