being guided by provisions of the Agreement on the Union of Belarus and Russia of April 2, 1997 and the Charter of the Union of Belarus and Russia of May 23, 1997, for the purpose of joint use of objects of their military infrastructure for the benefit of safety of both states

agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement regulates the questions connected with joint use of military facilities of the Parties for the benefit of regional group of their troops (forces) in borders of regionaterritoriya of the regions of the Russian Federation adjacent to frontier of the Republic of Belarus, and the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Article 2

In this agreement military facilities of the Parties are understood as the control centers placed in region borders by troops, places of dislocation of troops (forces), system of the engineering equipment of the area, line item and objects of forces and means of air defense, airfields, nodes and communication lines, polygons, arsenals, bases, warehouses, the companies for repair of military equipment and other objects used by troops (forces) of the Parties in daily activities in peace time and which are planned to be used during fighting.

Article 3

For the purposes of this agreement authorized bodies of the Parties are:

from the Republic of Belarus - the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus;

from the Russian Federation - the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

Article 4

Authorized bodies of the Parties develop the list of military facilities for joint use for the benefit of regional grouping (forces).
