About use of airspace
This Law determines the basic legal, economic and organizational provisions of use of airspace of the Republic of Armenia (further - airspace).
State regulation of use of airspace of the state directed to requirements satisfaction, the companies, organizations and the organizations, and also in the field of airborne transportations, aviation works and rendering other services, safety of flights, defense capability and safety of the state.
The Republic of Armenia possesses complete and exclusive sovereignty over airspace of the Republic of Armenia.
The airspace is airspace over the overland and water territory of the Republic of Armenia which is considered integral part of the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Use of airspace is regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, international treaties of the Republic of Armenia, this Law and other legal acts.
Operation of this Law extends to all air territory, and also beyond its limits - to the air territories where, according to international treaties of the Republic of Armenia, responsibility for air traffic management is born by the Republic of Armenia.
Operation of this Law extends to all subjects of the Republic of Armenia and foreign states using the above-stated air spaces on all bodies performing the organization of use of airspace and servicing of air traffic.
If international treaties of the Republic of Armenia establish other regulations than provided by this Law, then regulations of these agreements are applied.
