About maintaining the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of custom union

Interstate Council of Eurasian economic community (the supreme body of custom union) at the level of heads of governments solved:

1. According to the Decision of Interstate Council of Eurasian economic community (the supreme body of custom union) at the level of heads of states of November 27, 2009 No. 18 about transfer of powers to the Commission of custom union on maintaining since January 1, 2010 the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of custom union (further - FEACN CU) to ask the Government of the Russian Federation to charge to the Federal Customs Service (FCS of Russia) to perform technical maintaining FEACN CU according to the procedure, determined by the Commission of custom union.

2. The commissions of custom union together with FCS of Russia and customs authorities of state members of custom union to determine the procedure specified in Item 1 of this Decision and to develop regulations of interaction concerning maintaining FEACN CU.

3. Before enforcement of the Customs Code of the Customs Union for the purpose of ensuring uniformity of interpretation of FEACN CU the Commission of custom union makes and publishes decisions and explanations on classification of separate types of goods.

The procedure for introduction of offers on classification of separate types of goods, their considerations and approval of drafts of decisions and explanations with customs authorities of state members of custom union is determined by classification of separate types of goods by the decision of the Commission of custom union.

After adoption by the Commission of custom union of decisions and explanations on the classifications of separate types of goods of the decision and explanation accepted by customs authorities concerning the same types of goods are subject to cancellation or introduction of changes in them.
