About privatization of workshops

This Law governs the relations connected with privatization of the rooms (further - workshops) which are in the state housing stock, transferred for rent to artists, sculptors, architects and other creative figures (further - artists).
The workshops specified in article 1 of this Law transferred for rent till May 1, 2000 are considered as subjects to privatization.
Artists who are citizens of the Republic of Armenia are considered as subjects of privatization and constantly live in the republic.
Privatization of the state workshops is performed according to the decision of the corresponding governor, and in the city of Yerevan - the mayor according to the procedure, established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
Privatization of workshops is made based on the statement of the employer of this workshop or the representative authorized by it after its representation in a month.
Workshops are privatized gratuitously. The property right to the privatized workshops is subject to state registration in the procedure provided by the law. In case of registration of the property right on the privatized masterful owners are exempted from payment of duty on state registration.
Refusal in privatizations of workshops or its non-realization in the time established by this Law can be appealed in court.
