National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Central statistical bureau of the Republic of Latvia (daleestorona), being mutually interested in development of cooperation in the field of statistics, expansion of exchange of information and strengthening of interaction in work of statistical bodies of two countries, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation in the following forms:

exchange of statistical publications on methodical and special questions of statistical inspections;

exchange of statistical editions and publications (annuals, collections, bulletins and others) about social and economic situation and its development in the country;

experience exchange on use of information technologies, including structure and management of statistical databases and implementation of new information technologies;

exchange of information about new methods in the field of statistics and adaptation of statistical techniques to requirements of modern information society;

interaction in questions of participation in the international programs and projects.

Article 2

The parties will exchange as required work experience and to discuss the questions arising during the course of performance this agreement.

Article 3

For the purpose of deepening of further coordination of activities within this agreement in necessary cases of the Party can create the working group of the representatives.

Article 4

Information obtained by one of the Parties within this agreement cannot be transferred to the third parties without written consent of the Party which provided information.

Article 5

By mutual consent of the Parties changes and additions which are drawn up by the separate protocols which are integral parts of this agreement can be made to this agreement.
