The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic which further are referred to as with the Parties

aiming to exercise more effective customs control over movement of goods and vehicles between the Republic of Belarus and the Azerbaijan Republic,

recognizing that timely exchange of information, and also mutual aid and cooperation of the Parties will promote enhancement of customs control,

for the purpose of realization of provisions of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic about cooperation and mutual aid in customs affairs of November 5, 2004 (further - the Agreement),

agreed about the following:

Article 1

The parties within 30 days from the date of signing of the this Protocol exchange lists of the divisions and officials, and also customs which will be authorized on implementation of direct contacts on the questions provided by the this Protocol.

The parties will notify without delay each other on changes in the specified lists.

Article 2

Based on the this Protocol the cooperation provided by the Agreement is performed according to the legislation of the states of the Parties and within powers of the divisions specified in Article of 1 this Protocol.

Article 3

Heads of the Parties, if necessary, will meet for the purpose of assessment of implementation of the Agreement and also to discuss other customs questions which are of mutual interest within the competence and according to the legislation of the states of the Parties. The place and time of meetings will be approved in each case separately. If necessary they can authorize for the organization of joint meetings of officials of the divisions specified in Article of 1 this Protocol.
