About the Center for standardization and metrology under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic

1. Ceased to be valid according to the Order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of 01.04.2021 No. 128

2. Determine that the Center for standardization and metrology under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic is legal successor of National institute of standards and metrology of the Kyrgyz Republic.

3. Determine that from the republican budget are financed:

- creation and program implementation of development of national standards which customer is the state, including conducting examination of drafts of national standards;

- forming and maintaining National information fund of technical regulations and standards;

- payment of fees and participation in the international (regional) standardization organizations and metrology which list is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- works on creation and enhancement of national reference base of ensuring unity of measurements in the Kyrgyz Republic and traceability of measurements to the International System of Units (SI);

- development, acquisition, enhancement, storage and application of national and initial standards of units of the sizes which are on balance of the Center for standardization and metrology under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic and state bodies of the executive authority;

- maintaining the State register of measuring instruments and standard samples;

- research works in the field of metrology;

- participation in checkings of standards at the international, regional, national levels;

- acquisition and development of the equipment, rooms necessary for content of national and initial standards of the Kyrgyz Republic.
