About some questions of realization of gemstones and precious metals

For the purpose of market development of gemstones and precious metals:

1. Determine that turnovers on realization in the territory of the Republic of Belarus by the domestic diamond processing organizations not put in order (loose in jewelry) self-produced diamonds, individual characteristics of which are confirmed with the certificate of conformity issued by the gemological certified center (laboratory) authorized according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on work by determination of parameters and characteristics of gemstones, or are exempted by the certificate of quality on diamond issued by National Bank from taxation on value added.

2. The National Bank has the right to perform acquisition (redemption) of the diamonds having the certificate of quality issued by National Bank on diamond and being in extra packing which integrity is not broken.

3. Bring in the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of February 15, 2002 No. 103 "About some tax matters of the legal entities enabling import and the realization of precious metals in the territory of the Republic of Belarus" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2002, No. 23, 1/3508) the following amendments and change:

to add the name of the Decree after words of "precious metals" with the words "and gemstones";

to add preamble after words of "precious metals" with the words "and gemstones";

in Item 1:

state subitem 1.2 in the following edition:

"1.2. turnovers on realization in the territory of the Republic of Belarus by legal entities to banks, between banks, banks to legal entities and physical persons of bank and measuring ingots from precious metals, ingot (investment) coins from precious metals are exempted from taxation on value added;";
