About the general principles of regulation of consumer protection in the State Parties of Intergovernmental Assembly

Article 1. The basic concepts applied in this Law

For the purposes of this Law the following concepts and determinations are applied:

the consumer - the citizen who is using, acquiring, ordering or having intention to acquire or order goods (works, services) for personal domestic needs;

manufacturer - the company, the organization, organization or the citizen entrepreneur making goods for realization;

the contractor - the company, the organization, organization or the citizen entrepreneur performing the works or rendering services;

the seller - the company, the organization, organization or the citizen the entrepreneur realizing goods according to the purchase and sale agreement;

safety of goods (work, service) - lack of the unacceptable risk connected with possibility of damnification of life, to health or property of the consumer, and also the environment in case of usual conditions of use, storage, transportation, utilization of goods (result of work, service) or in the course of performance of work (rendering service);
