Instruction for registration of license, sublicense agreements for use of objects of industrial property

1. General provisions

1. This Instruction is developed according to Items 1-4 of article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The patent law" of July 16, 1999 and Items 2, 3 articles 21 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About trademarks, service marks and names of places of goods origin" of July 26, 1999, Articles 18, of 19, 20 Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About protection of selection achievements" of July 13, 1999, article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About legal protection of topology of integral chips" of June 29, 2001 and disaggregates the procedure of registration of license agreements, sublicense agreements concerning use of objects of industrial property.

2. In this Instruction the following basic concepts and terms are used:

1) objects of industrial property - the invention, useful models, industrial designs, trademarks or service marks, selection achievements, topology of integral chips;

2) security documents - the provisional patent (issued before adoption of law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning intellectual property" of March 2, 2007), the patent for the invention, industrial design, useful model, selection achievement, the innovative patent, the certificate for the trademark or service mark, for topology of integral chips;
