1. General provisions

1. This Instruction is developed according to Item 6 of article 11 of the Patent law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 16, 1999, Items 1, of 2, 3 articles 21 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About trademarks, service marks and names of places of goods origin" of July 26, 1999, Item 3 of Article 9, of article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About protection of selection achievements" of July 13, 1999, article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About legal protection of topology of integral chips" of June 29, 2001 and disaggregates the procedure of registration of contracts on concession of exclusive right for objects of industrial property.

2. In this Instruction the following basic concepts and terms are used:

1) exclusive right - property right of the patentee on use of object of industrial property in any manner at discretion;

2) objects of industrial property - the invention, useful models, industrial designs, trademarks or service marks, selection achievements, topology of integral chips;

3) security documents - the provisional patent (issued before adoption of law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning intellectual property" of March 2, 2007), the patent for the invention, industrial design, useful model, selection achievement; innovative patent for the invention; certificates on the trademark or service mark, on topology of integral chips;
