The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

aiming to provide the economic relations between the states of the Parties on the principles accepted in world practice

proceeding from need of ensuring effective functioning of national systems of the external economic regulation,

for the purpose of the best coordination of the external economic relations between the Parties

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties agreed that the Trade mission of the Russian Federation and the Trade mission of the Republic of Armenia founded respectively in the capital of the Republic of Armenia and in the capital of the Russian Federation based on the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on mutual organization of the trade missions of September 30, 1992 are effective according to provisions of this agreement.

Article 2

The trade missions perform the following main functions:

promote development of trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia;

represent the interests of the states in the state of stay on all questions concerning trade and other types of economic cooperation between two states;

inform the interested bodies of the state of stay on economic conditions in the state and its legislation in the field of foreign economic activity, and also provide such information on the state of stay to state bodies of the state;

promote participation of physical persons and legal entities in the international sales and industrial exhibitions organized in the territories of the states of the Parties and coordinate work of members of the state;
