2. Qualification requirements to patent agents, procedure for their certification and registration in the Register are determined by Public institution "National patent information center" of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan (daleepatentny department).

3. Rules regulate the legal relationship connected with professional activity of patent agents in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan with Patent authority of the Republic of Tajikistan, judicial authorities, legal entities and physical persons of the Republic of Tajikistan and other states.

4. Employees of Patent authority during work in Patent authority and within year after dismissal cannot be certified and registered in the Register as patent agents. After three years after release from work in Patent authority, employees who have at least three years of length of service in the structure of Patent authority connected from registration by objects of industrial property, having completed increase courses qualification, in Patent authority by interview method, undergo certification and based on the granted certificate for a period of five years will be registered as patent agents in the Register.
