About seed farming

This Law determines legal, economic and organizational basis of implementation of activities in the field of seed farming and is directed to regulation of questions of the organization and functioning of system of seed farming and the state control of production, procurement, processing, storage, transportation, realization and use of seeds of agricultural plants.

Chapter 1 General provisions

Article 1. The basic concepts used in this Law

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) it is excluded

1-1) No. 435-V ZRK is excluded according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 04.12.2015;

2) certification - establishment (confirmation) of compliance of physical and (or) legal entities to the status of the subject of seed farming;

4) agricultural plants - grain, leguminous, groat, forage, oil-bearing, essential oil-bearing, commercial, vegetable, medicinal, flower, fruit, berry crops, potatoes, grapes;

5) aprobator - the physical person which notified the relevant local executive body of the area, city of regional value, area, city of republican value and the capital on the beginning of activities for carrying out approbation of high-quality crops of agricultural plants;

6) monitoring tests - establishment of safety of signs of grade of agricultural plant and compliance of version to this grade;

7) original seeds - the seeds made by the author of grade of agricultural plant authorized by it-faced or originatory grades and intended for production of elite seeds;

8) seeds of the first, second and third reproductions - the subsequent reproduction of seeds of elite by years: the first year - the first reproduction, the second year - the second reproduction, the third year - the third reproduction;
