About purchase and sale of goods

The parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopts this law.

This law determines the basic principles of regulation of the commercial relations between economic actors following from legal (contractual) forms without restriction of independence of participants of business volume, freedom of the agreement and taking into account the rules of honesty and conscientiousness accepted in the commercial relations.

Chapter I GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Regulation of contractual relations

(1) the Relations connected with the conclusion, change, termination and execution of purchase and sale agreements are regulated by this law, other legal acts and the agreement of the parties according to the procedure, provided by the law.

(2) This law regulates the relations on purchase and sale of any kinds of goods irrespective of their appointment: food and industrial, buildings, constructions, vehicles, products of intellectual work, etc., except for goods for private, home or family use, other goods according to the law.

Article 2. Purchase and sale agreement of goods

(1) According to the purchase and sale agreement of goods the seller reports property (the document confirming property rights) to property to the buyer, and the buyer performs acceptance and pays its cost.

(3) In this law:

a) the buyer means person who buys goods and signs the purchase agreement of goods;
