About restriction of use of tobacco products
This Law determines the legal basis of restriction of use of tobacco products for the purpose of the prevention of incidence and public health care.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- tobacco products - products for smoking, chewing or the shuffings packed into consumer pack, including filtered cigarettes, non-filtered cigarettes, cigarettes, cigars, smoking tobacco, us;
- tobacco smoking - inhalation of smoke of smoldering tobacco products, chewing or shuffing, smoking of NASA;

- pitch - one of poisonous tobacco combustion products arising in the course of smoking and promoting emergence of diseases.
The legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on restriction of use of tobacco products is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and consists of this Law, other regulatory legal acts, and also the international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan.
Activities for production, import, export, wholesale and retail sale of tobacco products are performed according to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About licensing of separate types of activity".
