Art. 1. - Citizens the persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Moldova and having the evidence of the belonging to nationality of other state are recognized foreign.
Art. 2. - Person who is not considered by the citizen any state owing to its law is considered the person without citizenship.
Art. 3. - Foreign citizens and stateless persons shall observe the Constitution and other laws of the Republic of Moldova.
Art. 4. - The legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons is determined by the current legislation and international treaties, one of the parties of which is the Republic of Moldova.
Art. 5. - (1) Foreign citizens and stateless persons have the same rights, freedoms and obligations, as citizens of the Republic of Moldova, with the withdrawals established by the law.
(2) Use of foreign citizens and stateless persons of the rights and freedoms shall not cause damage to interests of the state, the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Moldova and other persons.
(3) Foreign citizens and stateless persons are equal before the law and the authorities irrespective of race, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion, floor, views, political affiliation, property status or social origin.
Art. 6. - (1) Foreign citizens and persons without citizenship have the right to live in the Republic of Moldova according to the valid identification documents.
