About additional measures for enhancement of customs and tariff regulation of import of consumer goods

For the purpose of streamlining of import of separate types of consumer goods, and also creating favorable conditions for increase in competitiveness of domestic enterprises of the flour-grinding industry:

1. Impose since April 1, 2011 the excise tax on the imported separate types of consumer goods according to appendix.

2. To provide to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan strict observance of established procedure of customs clearance of imported goods, having established efficient control of non-admission of their illegal import.

3. To the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to exercise system control of strict observance of established procedure of implementation of import transactions by legal entities and physical persons, to take measures for counteraction of realization in retail chain stores, in the territory of the markets and malls of smuggled goods.

4. To the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan to make in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution in a month.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azimov R. S.
