The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Slovak Republic which are referred to as as the Parties,

proceeding from the friendly relations between the people and the states of the Parties,

aiming at development of cooperation in industry of peaceful use of atomic energy,

recognizing the need for transportation of the fresh and fulfilled nuclear fuel and other nuclear materials between the Russian Federation and the Slovak Republic through the territory of Ukraine,

considering applicable international agreements and the legislation of the states of the Parties in industry of transportation of nuclear materials,

in view of applicable documents of International Atomic Energy Agency,

in view of membership of the Slovak Republic in the European Union,

agreed about it:

Article 1

The parties cooperate with the purpose of ensuring transportation of the fresh and fulfilled nuclear fuel, other categories of nuclear materials which belong to nuclear fuel cycle, natural uranium, radioactive materials which are formed as a result of conversion of the fulfilled nuclear fuel, and also empty transport and packaging sets for such materials (further - particular loads) of the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic and of the Slovak Republic to the Russian Federation by en route through the territory of Ukraine.

Article 2

Competent authorities of the Parties are:

a) concerning implementation of this Agreement and consideration of matters of argument:

from the Ukrainian Side - the State committee of nuclear regulation of Ukraine;

from the Russian Side - State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom";

from the Slovak Side - the Ministry of Economics and constructions of the Slovak Republic;

b) concerning regulation and supervision of nuclear and radiation safety:
