About organ transplantation and (or) tissues of the person

This Law determines conditions and procedure for organ transplantation and (or) tissues of the person, relying on modern achievements of science and medical practice in the world taking into account recommendations of the World Health Organization.

Transplantation (change) of bodies and (or) tissues of the person is one of methods of rescuing of life of the patient in far come stages of disease, recovery of health of citizens and shall be performed on the basis of compliance with law of the Kyrgyz Republic and human rights according to the humane principles proclaimed the international community.

SECTION I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. The main terms applied in this Law

In this Law the following main terms are applied:

transplantation - substitution of the fabrics or bodies which are absent or damaged by pathological process, own fabrics or bodies or taken from other organism;

fabric - system of the cages and noncellular structures combined by general function, structure and (or) origin;

body - the part of organism representing evolutionarily developed complex of fabrics combined by general function, the structural organization and development;

the recipient - the person to whom transplantation of body or fabrics from the donor is made;

the donor - person providing part of the blood, other fabrics or body for transfusion or change to the patient;

consultation - meeting of doctors of one or different specialties for the purpose of development of the conclusion about the state of health inspected establishments of the diagnosis of disease, determination of its forecast, tactics of inspection and treatment of the patient;
