About ecological formation and education of the population
This Law establishes legal, economic and organizational basis of the state policy connected with ecological formation and education of the population, governs the relations in this area.
1.0. The basic concepts used in this Law express the following values:
1.0.1. ecological education process of teaching and studying of regulations, special knowledge, experiment on environmental protection and use of natural resources;
1.0.2. ecological knowledge of the data on the environment, ecology, interrelation of the person with the nature;
1.0.3. ecological education distribution of the ecological knowledge and experience directed to forming of ecological culture;
1.0.4. ecological culture set of knowledge and experience concerning ecological safety of the population and the country, interrelation of the person with the environment.
The legislation on ecological education and education of the population consists of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, this Law, the laws connected with education and environmental protection, international treaties which participant is the Azerbaijan Republic, and other corresponding regulatory legal acts.
3.1. Fall within coverage of this Law the system of life-long ecological education and education conforming to the state educational standards reflecting in itself the principles of ecological education, and also the information space carried to ecological education in educational institutions.
3.2. This Law extends to the public authorities and local self-government exercising control in the field of ecological education and education, the educational institutions which are engaged in education of the population and also on other legal entities and physical person.
