Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Legal status of Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Chamber of Commerce and Industry the voluntary consolidation of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs which is non-state non-profit organization, created for the purpose of assistance to development of business activity in the Republic of Belarus, integration of its economy in world economic system, creating favorable conditions for consolidation of foreign economic relations of subjects of business activity with foreign partners is recognized.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has the right:

act as the founder (participant) of legal entities or the owner of property according to the procedure, determined by the legislation;

create representations and branches;

perform other powers according to the legislation.

Article 2. Principles of activities of Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Activities of Chamber of Commerce and Industry are based on the following principles:

legality;

voluntary consolidation of members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

equality of members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

non-interference of Chamber of Commerce and Industry to activities of her members;

independence;

publicity.

Article 3. Main objectives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The main objectives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry are:

assistance to development of bonds of subjects of business activity with foreign investors, to increase in export of the Belarusian goods (works, services);
