About enforcement of the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic

Article 1. To enact the code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic from the date of its publication, except for provisions for which other terms of enforcement are established by this Law.
Article 2. From the moment of publication of the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic to declare invalid the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz SSR approved by the Law of the Kyrgyz SSR of December 29, 1960 "About approval of the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz SSR" (Sheets of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR, 1960, No. 40, the Art. 146), and also the laws and other regulatory legal acts adopted during the period from December 29, 1960 to May 24, 1999 regarding modification and amendments of the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Article 3. To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in three-months time:
- prepare and make in Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic offers on reduction in compliance with the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic of the legal acts contradicting the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- provide review and cancellation by the ministries and administrative departments of the regulatory legal acts contradicting the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Article 4. Until reduction in compliance with the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic legislative and regulatory legal acts are applied in the part which is not contradicting the Code of penal procedure of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Article 5. The regulations of the Code of penal procedure on the bailiff provided in Article 270, are entered step by step till 2001, in coordination with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
