1. Approve Regulations on flag of the Commonwealth of Independent States it (is applied).

Heads of states will take the necessary measures directed to establishment in the legislation of their states of responsibility for the actions causing damage to advantage of flag of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and use of flag in abuse of regulations, established by Regulations on flag of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
3. Charge to the Executive Secretariat of the Commonwealth to develop technical requirements to production of flag of the CIS and procedure for issue of permissions to use of flag and its image according to the Provision.
It is made in the city of Moscow on January 19, 1996 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in the Executive Secretariat of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed this Decision, its verified copy.
