proceeding from aspiration of the Parties to close cooperation,

confirming readiness of Inter-parliamentary Committee to take active part in work of Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the State Parties of the CIS,

being guided by article 9 of the Agreement on Inter-parliamentary Committee and the decision of Council of MPA of May 28, 1996,

signed the Agreement as follows:

Article 1

To assign information, legal, material, organizational and other support of activities of Inter-parliamentary Committee and its bodies to the Secretariat of Council of MPA which will perform at the same time functions of the Secretariat of Inter-parliamentary Committee.

Article 2

According to this agreement Secretariat of Council of Inter-parliamentary Assembly will be at the request of Bureau of Inter-parliamentary Committee or the Chairman of Inter-parliamentary Committee in the terms coordinated with them to perform servicing of Inter-parliamentary Committee and its bodies, including:

a) provide organizational technical training of meetings of Inter-parliamentary Committee, its Bureau, constants and the temporary deputy commissions, other facilitative branches;

b) organize information and legal support of activities of Inter-parliamentary Committee and its bodies;

c) prepare, translate, print and distribute official documents and materials of Inter-parliamentary Committee and its bodies;

d) print and distribute official publications of Inter-parliamentary Committee;
