CONSIDERING the provisions of Bases of customs legislations of the states of members of the Commonwealth of Independent States accepted by Council of heads of states of the Commonwealth of Independent States on February 10, 1995, earlier concluded two - and multi-lateral agreements concerning regulation of movement of goods between the states of the Parties,

AIMING at further expansion of mutually advantageous trade and economic relations,

WISHING to provide effective functioning of free trade regime and to create conditions for completion of forming of the Customs union,

INTENDING to provide conditions for free movement of goods between the State Parties of the Customs union,

RECOGNIZING need of unification and simplification of customs procedures concerning the goods occurring from the territories of the states of the Parties without damage of national interests of each of the states,

PROCEEDING FROM the universally recognized norms of international law,

AGREED as follows:

I. General provisions

Article 1

In this agreement the terms determined according to Bases of customs legislations of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States are used.
