The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia, the "High contracting parties" which further are referred to as,
being guided by the purposes and the principles of the Charter of the UN,
confirming the commitment to the Helsinki Final act of CSCE and to other fundamental documents on safety and cooperation in Europe and Asia,
recognizing priority of international law in the relations between the states,
the full of determination to build the interstate relations on the basis of mutual understanding, justice and equality,
aiming at consolidation of peace and cooperation in Europe and Asia,
decided to sign this Agreement and agreed as follows:
High contracting parties in the mutual relations and in the international activities act as the sovereign, equal, friendly states and develop the relations on the basis of the principles of respect of independence and the state sovereignty, equality and non-interference to internal affairs of each other.
High contracting parties will develop equality and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of economy, cultures, health cares, ecology, science, the equipment, trade, to promote broad information exchange.
The parties are considered necessary to sign free standing agreements in these areas.
High contracting parties agreed that specific mechanisms of the intereconomic relations, trade exchange, all types of communication and transportations will be settled by the relevant agreements. The parties will not apply unilaterally the economic measures destabilizing the market of other Party as well as to participate in similar actions of the third parties.
High contracting parties will sign intergovernmental agreements about mutual deliveries and services, movement of securities.
