The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement extends on constantly living in the Republic of Lithuania according to its legislation, being in inventory or in resignation of admirals, generals, officers, ensigns, warrant officers, military personnel of extra urgent service of Armed Forces of the former USSR (Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) of border, internal, railway and other troops, faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies of the former USSR (Russian Federation) and members of their families receiving pensions and benefits of the Russian Federation from the means of the republican budget of the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as by military pensioners of the Russian Federation.

Provision of pensions of specified persons, irrespective of their nationality, is performed by the Russian Federation on conditions and on regulations of its legislation.

Article 2

Questions of appointment, recalculation and determination of conditions of pension payment and benefits to military pensioners of the Russian Federation are solved department of social security under Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania. At the same time financing and revenues to certain bank account of the Republic of Lithuania of funds for pension payment and benefits will be performed through Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania.
