The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine which further are referred to as with the Parties, understanding that illicit trafficking in alcoholic products and abuse of alcohol make negative impact on general condition of fight by crime and ensuring public order, and also pose serious health hazard of citizens,

in view of need of strengthening international cooperation for the purpose of suppression of illicit trafficking in alcoholic products,

performed determination to render each other necessary assistance in fight against illicit trafficking in alcoholic products,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purpose of this agreement following terms have the following value;

"alcoholic products" - the ethyl alcohol, alcoholic beverages carried according to the standards and specifications existing in the states of the Parties to alcoholic products;

"illicit trafficking in alcoholic products" - illegal production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale, including, import or export, alcoholic products.

Article 2

The parties will be according to provisions of this agreement, being effective within the competence, with compliance with law and international treaties of the states, to cooperate in questions of the prevention, identification and suppression of illicit trafficking in alcoholic products, and also prevention of the offenses connected with abuse of alcohol.

Article 3

1. The cooperation within this agreement is performed, in particular, in the following directions:

exchange of information;

mutual execution of requests about conducting investigation and search operations;
