Rate of the consular fees of the Republic of Belarus
The consular fees in the form of sums of money arriving in the income of the state are levied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and its consular establishments abroad from the Belarusian and foreign physical persons and legal entities for the benefit of which make consular actions and the documents having legal value are issued.
Stateless persons are equated to foreign physical persons of the country of their permanent residence.
Collection of the consular fees is made according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, provisions of the Consular Charter, international treaties which participant is the Republic of Belarus, and this Rate.
In case of accomplishment of consular actions actual expenses (telephone, cable, post, transport, clerical and others) in volume of actually rendered services, but no more than 30 percent from the main rate of the corresponding consular fee are subject to compensation.
The amount of actual expenses does not join in rate of the consular fee. The procedure for expenditure of the means received from compensation of actual expenses is determined the MFA of the Republic of Belarus in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
