About the state support of pensioners
For the purpose of strengthening of the state support of pensioners:
1. Determine that the citizens who reached generally established retirement age which grants national pension irrespective of its type have the right to 50 percent discount from fare on rail transport public in trains of regional lines of economy class, water and automobile passenger common carrier of the regular suburban message (except taxi) for seasonal agricultural works annually from May 1 to October 31.
This right is exercised by citizens based on travel documents (tickets) issued to them by the organizations of passenger transport in case of presentation of pension certificates.
2. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus to provide compensation for the account of means of the republican budget to the organizations of passenger common carrier of the expenses incurred in connection with provision to citizens of 50 percent discount from fare according to Item 1 of this Decree.
3. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
