About the state support of small and medium entrepreneurship

1. The purpose of this Law consists in establishment of standards of subjects of small and medium entrepreneurship, the main directions of the state support and the principles of implementation of state policy in this sphere.
The relations in the field of small and medium entrepreneurship (further – MSP) are regulated by this Law, other laws and legal acts of the Republic of Armenia.
2. This Law does not extend to the credit, insurance and investment institutions, investment funds, managing directors of investment funds, pawnshops, to specialized members of the security market, the gaming houses and subjects performing activities for the organization of games with prize and also to affiliated and dependent economic societies.
1. In the Republic of Armenia subjects of MSP are classified:
1) midget – the commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs at whom the average number of workers constitutes up to 10 people and the profit got from last year's activities or book value of assets as of the end of previous year does not exceed 100 million dramas;
2) small – the commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs at whom the average number of workers constitutes up to 50 people and the profit got from last year's activities or book value of assets as of the end of previous year does not exceed 500 million dramas;
3) averages – the commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs at whom the average number of workers constitutes up to 250 people and the profit got from last year's activities or book value of assets as of the end of previous year do not exceed respectively 1500 million dramas and 1000 million dramas.
