About introduction of amendments to article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About local public administrations"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. In part one of article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About local public administrations" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, N 20-21, Art. 190; 2006, N 12, Art. 104):

Paragraph one of Item 1 after words of "orphan children" to add 1) with words of "the children deprived of parent care, persons from their number";

To add 2) with Item 9 of the following content:

"9) resolves issue concerning establishment of guardianship and care, creation of stipulated by the legislation conditions for education and/or arrangement of children which as a result of the death of parents, deprivation of parents of the parent rights, diseases of parents or for other reasons were left without parent care, concerning protection of personal and property rights and interests of children, and also takes other measures of rather social protection of the children carried to its competence by the law".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
