About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About fauna" concerning strengthening of measures for fight against poaching

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About fauna" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2002, N 14, Art. 97; 2009, N 30, Art. 428; 2010, N 10, Art. 108) following changes:

To add 1) with Article 52-1 of such content:

"Article 52-1. The prohibited tools of production of objects of fauna

For production of objects of fauna production, sale, application, storage of the poisonous baits pricking, pressing and kapkanopodobny tools of fishing, elektrolovilny systems (electrorods), explosives, bird's glue and monofilar (lesochny) grids (except intended for trade fishing), and also other means prohibited by the law are prohibited.

Tools of production of the objects of fauna leading to mutilation of wild animals, their sufferings and mass uncontrolled destruction are prohibited";

2) in Article 53:

add the name with the words "and tools of their production";

add with part two of such content:

"Import to Ukraine of elektrolovilny systems (electrorods), monofilar (lesochny) grids, hunting traps and other means of production of the objects of fauna prohibited by the law is forbidden".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
