being guided by the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Ukraine on cooperation in the field of culture, science and education of July 26, 1995,
wishing to promote further development and strengthening of friendship in the fields of education, sciences and cultures between the Russian Federation and Ukraine,
for the purpose of mutual recognition of education documents and the academic statuses issued in the Russian Federation and Ukraine
adhering to the commonly international accepted principles of recognition of education documents and academic statuses,
agreed as follows:
The certificate about the main general education issued in the Russian Federation, and the certificate on basic general secondary education granted in Ukraine are recognized equivalent both states.
The certificate about the secondary (complete) general education and the diploma about primary professional education (with receipt of the secondary (complete) general education), issued in the Russian Federation, and the certificate about complete general secondary education issued in Ukraine are recognized both states as the documents granting the right to continue education in average special and higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation and higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
