The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the multilateral agreement about the principles of recognition and nostrification of documents on academic degrees, comparabilities of academic degrees (the city of Alma-Ata, 17.05.1993),

aiming at preserving and development of scientific bonds,

confirming the aspiration to continue cooperation in the field of certification scientific and research and educational personnel of the top skills, proceeding from the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of the higher education of July 27, 1995,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties recognize the qualification documents of the state sample on award of academic degrees issued by authorized body of other Party in the territories of the states. Recognition of these documents does not involve unconditional distribution on their owners of the rights established by the Party in the territory for owners of national qualification documents.

Equivalence of qualification documents on academic degrees of the state sample is established in the course of recertification of their owners.

Recertification is carried out by state body of certification of the state which citizen is the job seeker or in the territory of which he constantly lives.
