The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties
being guided by the aspiration to increase mutual academic mobility and cooperation in the fields of education and sciences,
for the purpose of setting standards of mutual recognition of education documents, academic degrees and academic statuses
agreed as follows:
This agreement extends to the documents of the state sample of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia on education, academic degrees and ranks issued by federal body of management of formation of the Russian Federation and authorized body of public administration of formation of the Republic of Armenia and also having state accreditation by educational institutions.
Provisions of this agreement are applied also to documents of the state sample on education, the academic degrees and academic statuses issued in the territories of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia before entry into force of this agreement.
The certificate about the main general education issued in the Russian Federation, and the certificate on the main general education granted in the Republic of Armenia are recognized respectively the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation as the documents granting the right to continue education in educational institutions of secondary (complete) general, primary professional and secondary professional education of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia according to the legislation of the Russian Federation and the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and according to requirements of the accepting educational institution.
